[ARCHIVED] Census Count: More Important Than Ever!

Census 2020

Census Count: More Important Than Ever!

Making sure everyone is counted is vital to ensuring that Arizona cities and towns receive the federal funding we need to provide vital services to our residents.

The Census count has begun! Your residents should have received a Census ID in the mail. They can use this ID and go online to complete their form at https://my2020census.gov.

Didn’t Receive a Form in the Mail? If a resident didn’t receive an ID form I the mail they can still go online and complete the form at: https://my2020census.govThey will just need to fill out their address (right under where the ID code should be put in.)

Track How Your City or Town is Doing You can also track how our state, or your city or town, is doing by going to Census Self-Response Map.This map is now live, and you can log in to see your city or town self-response rate. This map is updated daily at: https://2020census.gov/en/response-rates.html. Even during these trying times we can do our part to make the Census count!

Promote the Census in Your City or Town The League of Arizona Cities & Towns has put together a fun, informative video on the 2020 Census. Click here to view the video and feel free to share it on your websites, public access channels and social media.
